Mairi Chalmers - Trainee Designer

Mairi Chalmers used to be a technophobe, but that’s all changed since she started working as Trainee Kitchen Designer for Blueberry Kitchens.

Working with 3D images and using specialist software, Mairi has become adept at working on a wide range of designs for clients with a variety of kitchen sizes, shapes and preferences.

The former florist always loved interiors and wanted to get into design. She said: “It’s an amazing feeling, when we have really transformed someone’s kitchen, and they are astounded at just how good it can look.”

When Mairi isn’t helping design bespoke new kitchens for clients, she loves spending time on the West Coast; it’s still nice to get away from the computer sometimes.
