Eco Policy Blueberry kitchens & the environment

At Blueberry Kitchens we believe that the small things we do can have a big impact upon our environment.

For that reason we are looking at kitchen design and redesign with an eye to providing eco friendly options.

• All the appliances that we remove before installing a new kitchen are recycled where possible and otherwise safely disposed of.
• We are a supplier of Pergo flooring – one of the first companies in the world to meet the environmental requirements to become ISO 14001 certified.

We have also taken a number of small, manageable steps within our two showrooms and offices:

• All waste paper is recycled.
  
• We use recycled printer paper.
• All office plastic, cans and bottles are recycled.
• Our computers are switched off at night which ensures that we don’t pollute the atmosphere with 1500 pounds of carbon dioxide a year – it would take 100-500 trees to absorb that amount of carbon dioxide.
• We enjoy Fairtrade coffee and tea in our offices
